Private party venues in Tampa Bay
A 50th birthday for 80 people and a baby shower for 25 need very different rooms, and neither one needs a wedding venue's Saturday price. Tell us the occasion, the count and the date and you get spaces built for that size of party.

Event halls and clubhouses
Rentable halls, community clubhouses and social clubs for 80 to 300 where you bring your own caterer.
Breweries and bars
Taproom buyouts and reserved sections in Seminole Heights, Ybor City, downtown St. Petersburg and Dunedin.
Waterfront and boats
Bay-front decks and small charter boats for a party that's about the view. See waterfront venues.
Barns and gardens
Daytime and Sunday use of rustic venues for reunions and showers. See barn and rustic venues.
What affects the price
- Food and beverage minimum at restaurants and bars, which is often the only cost.
- Rental fee at halls and clubhouses, usually lower but with catering on top.
- Day and time. Sunday afternoons and weeknights are the cheapest party slots in the area.
- Hours, including setup if you're decorating.
- Whether the venue requires a licensed bartender for alcohol.
You get the rental price and what it includes before you put down a deposit.
Private parties around Tampa Bay
Tampa Bay's restaurant scene is where most parties under 60 end up, and it's spread out enough that you can usually find a private room close to where the guests live, whether that's South Tampa, Brandon, Wesley Chapel or St. Petersburg. For bigger family events, the halls and clubhouses in Brandon, Riverview, Temple Terrace and Carrollwood keep the cost down by letting you bring the food. Summer parties go indoors; October through April, a covered patio or a bay-front deck is comfortable from lunch through late evening.
Common questions
What's the minimum size you work with?
Around 20 guests. Below that, most restaurants will seat you without a private room and you don't need us.
Can we bring our own food to a hall?
At most rental halls and clubhouses, yes, sometimes with a list of approved caterers. Restaurants, bars and hotels serve their own.
Do you place celebrations of life?
Yes, and quickly. Restaurants, clubhouses and waterfront spaces can usually be arranged within a week or two, and venues are used to handling these with care.
How far ahead should we book a party venue?
A month or two is comfortable for most parties. Saturday nights in December and graduation weekends in May go faster.
